Undefeated mixed martial artist Chase “The Teenage Dream” Hooper, 20, has earned his first victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Fighting out of Enumclaw, Washington, United States, he was one of the winners at “UFC 245.”

Featuring 13 MMA fights, the UFC held “UFC 245” at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on December 14, 2019. In the fourth bout of the evening, Hooper competed in the featherweight division against Daniel “Kid Dynamite” Teymur, 31, of Stockholm, Sweden.

Jason Herzog served as the referee of the featherweight bout. He put a stop to the contest after 4 minutes and 34 seconds when Hooper knocked out Teymur via punches.

“(It) feels fantastic to get my first UFC win,” Hooper said in his post-fight interview. “I think I did a good job of not getting too worked up by all of the pressure with an event of this magnitude. (I’m) not sure how much someone under 21 can celebrate here in Vegas but I’ll find something fun to do.”

Winning at “UFC 245” improved Hooper’s professional MMA record to 9 wins, 0 loss and 1 draw. On the other hand, Teymur now has 7 wins and 4 losses.

Born on September 13, 1999, Hooper went to Enumclaw High School from 2013 to 2017. He has been competing professionally in 2017.

Hooper made his UFC debut at “UFC 245.” Before joining the promotion, the Enumclaw native competed in Combat Games MMA, CageSport MMA, Dominate Fighting Championship, Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Square Ring Promotions and Titan Fighting Championships.

On July 24, 2018, Hooper fought Canaan Kawaihae, 22, of Kailua, Hawaii, USA in “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series” Season 2 episode 6 at the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas. The Enumclaw native won via unanimous decision.
