Representing Malaysia, Danial Hansen Idris, 24, was crowned Mister Tourism World 2019 in Siġġiewi, Malta. It was the fourth edition of the international male beauty pageant established in Bali, Indonesia on January 30, 2016 with a headquarter in Greenwich, London, England, United Kingdom.
Hansen is a model and a bodybuilder from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His father is of Malaysian, Chinese and Danish descent.
In 2018, Hansen competed in the Men of Steel bodybuilding competition at the Forest City Phoenix Hotel in Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia. He finished in the fifth place.
“Saya bangga mengatakan bahawa saya tidak mengambil bahan tambahan seperti steroid (I’m proud to say that I don’t take supplements like steroids),” Hansen told Stail Malaysia. “Otot saya natural (My muscles are natural).”
A student of HELP University in Kuala Lumpur, Hansen is studying Entrepreneurship. On June 15, 2019, the Malaysian-Chinese-Danish model and bodybuilder won Bachelor of Malaysia 2019 at the Recital Hall of the University Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, besting 18 other candidates.

Including Hansen, 19 men from around the world competed in Mister Tourism World 2019. The coronation night took place at the Montekristo Estate in Siġġiewi on January 11, 2020.
Hansen succeeded Mister Tourism World 2018 Kyle Vosper, 25, of England. The latter was crowned in Rome, Italy on February 4, 2019.
Runner-up to Hansen was Jomar Josue Perez, 24, of Puerto Rico. Rafael Columna, 23, of Dominican Republic, Jeremy Lensink, 28, of the Netherlands and Carlos Santana, 29, of Brazil were the respective second, third and fourth runners-up.
Kotaro Kasamatsu of Japan, Herald Conner of Venezuela and Abdullah Cheng of the Philippines finished in the Top 8. Samuel Lopez Arcos of Spain, Alberto Quijada of Mexico, Omar Orlando Dale of Jamaica, Chanatip Nathon of Thailand and Wayne Cassar of Malta finished in the Top 13.
A bodybuilder, Hansen easily won the Best Physique award. He also won the World Choice Award and he was the Charmingly Cultured Award first runner-up.
