Aaron Fredrick “AJ” Mitchell Jr., 18, is set to serenade and meet his Filipino fans for an upcoming series of mall tours. The American pop singer-songwriter will be performing in select Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in Metro Manila, Philippines from January 17-18, 2020.

Mitchell will perform in Uptown Mall in Taguig City, Metro Manila on January 17, 2020 at 7 p.m. On January 18, 2020, he will meet his fans at the Venice Grand Canal Mall in Taguig City at 3 p.m. and in Eastwood City in Quezon City, Metro Manila at 7 p.m.

“This will be my first time in the Philippines,” Mitchell said. “I’m so excited to experience the culture and see as much as I can while there. I can’t wait to eat the amazing food and hopefully see some of the beaches as well.”

With Nathan Huang of Nathan & Mercury, Mitchell will perform some fan favorites, including the mid-tempo jam “All My Friends” and the global smash “Slow Dance” featuring Ava Max. Any Name’s Okay will be featured as opening act.

Born in Belleville, Illinois, United States, Mitchell is the son of travelling nurse Aaron Fredrick Mitchell Sr. and businesswoman Allison Mitchell. AJ was only 4 years old when he started his piano lessons.

With a slick and show-stopping voice, charismatic personality and sharp songwriting chops, AJ has already charted three hits on the U.S. Top 40 radio chart in a span of less than two years. These are “Girls,” “All My Friends,” which peaked inside the top 25, and “Slow Dance,” which is now ranked number 29 and still climbing.

In terms of streaming, AJ has racked up more than 100 million streams and 4.15 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This cemented himself as the most promising male artist in 2019.

Outside the U.S., the Philippines is considered to be one of the biggest music markets of AJ. He said, “I was pleasantly surprised when I first learned this and I’m so excited to finally get to meet some of my Filipino fans.”

“Slow Dance,” AJ’s latest single, is currently making waves in local streaming playlists and top 40 radio stations. It is now available on all music streaming and download platforms worldwide.
