Kobe was truly larger than life, a legend. May he and all those who lost their lives today rest in peace. Love and condolences to his family. LA will never be the same.
The world lost a great man and a great champion. I feel so bad for his family. Breaks my heart. Athlete, writer, innovator, role model, #OneOfAKindpic.twitter.com/cp0n9GsAR4
The world has suffered a great loss with the passing of Kobe Bryant. His passion on and off the court inspired millions of people who watched him soar and defy gravity to reach his goals. I send my love and support to Vanessa and the Bryant family. May they be held in God’s Arms.
The Kobe news is just awful. Having spent two years at the Turner Sports family I know how hard this will hit everyone around basketball. He was a beloved icon and even his rivals couldn't stay mad at him. We're all deprived of seeing what greatness he would have achieved next. pic.twitter.com/k5YN0GFzSn
When you shake hands with an ANGEL. Rest in peace my beautiful brother. May love and peace surround the families of all involved. Sooo sad. 💔 @kobebryant#24pic.twitter.com/B56VDohNnO
I’m heartbroken. Shocked. Husband, Father, Strategist, Philosopher-Poet, Warrior-Athlete, Filmmaker…your focus is magnetic, Kobe. My love goes out to you and your family. pic.twitter.com/MpKlVdjKV8
“You are responsible for how people remember you…So don’t take it lightly…Leave everything on the court. Leave the game better than you found it. And when it comes time for you to leave, leave a legend.” – Kobe Bryant, RIP 💔 pic.twitter.com/iKEX0Y9mF3
My hometown of Los Angeles has lost a sports legend, Kobe Bryant, who was killed along with his 13-year old daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash today. My heart is with their family on the news of this tragic accident.
All my life I’ve been a Bulls fan rooting against the Lakers. In 30+ years living in LA, that’s never changed. And for 20 years @kobebryant made rooting against them fun. Because he was so damn great. Sigh… Even as great as Michael. I am so sad today. Gut punched & heartbroken.
