The first ever Miss Universe Philippines winner will be the representative of the Philippines to Miss Universe 2020. She will succeed Gazini Ganados, who was crowned in Binibining Pilipinas 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on June 9, 2019.
Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup-Lee is the Miss Universe Philippines organization national director. Miss Universe Philippines 2006 Lia Andrea Ramos is the Women Empowerment and Charity head, Nad Bronce is the legal affairs head, Albert Andrada is the design council head, Mario Garcia is the business development and marketing head and Jonas Antonio Gaffud is the creative director.
Ganados will crown her successor at the SM Mall of Asia arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila on May 3, 2020. Aspiring queens had until January 31, 2020 to submit their application.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 screening took place at the Empire Studio of Uptown Mall in Taguig, Metro Manila on February 1, 2020. Here are some of the applicants:
