Pacio and Folayang were two of the six Filipino MMA fighters who competed at “ONE: Fire and Fury” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 31, 2020. In the co-main event of the evening, Folayang lost via split decision to Pieter “The Archangel” Buist, 31, of the Netherlands in an MMA match in the lightweight division.

In the main event, Pacio successfully defended his title as the reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion from former champion Alex “Little Rock” Silva, 37, of Brazil. The defending champion won via split decision.

It marked Pacio’s second successful title defense. The first one was on November 8, 2019 when he submitted his countryman Rene “The Challenger” Catalan, 41, at “ONE: Masters of Fate” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

On the other hand, Folayang held the ONE Lightweight World Championship title twice. He reigned in the division from November 11, 2016 to November 10, 2017 and from November 23, 2018 to March 31, 2019.
