Matteo Guidicelli, Sarah Geronimo

Gianmatteo Fernan Guidicelli, 29, who is professionally known as Matteo Guidicelli, married Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo-Guidicelli, 31, who is professionally known as Sarah Geronimo, on February 20, 2020. It was a secret, private Christian wedding ceremony attended by very close friends and the groom’s family and relatives.

Pastor Paolo Punzalan officiated the wedding, which took place at the Victory Church in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. The reception was held at Shangri-La at the Fort in BGC.

The fact that Sarah’s family members were not invited to the wedding already says a lot. Her parents Delfin Geronimo and Divina Tua Geronimo allegedly did not approve of her relationship with Matteo.

The wedding was not held without controversies as Matteo was accused of punching Sarah’s bodyguard Jerry Tamara, who was accused of informing Divina about their whereabouts. On February 26, 2020, Matteo released a statement for the first time sending his wife a sweet message while denying all the allegations against him.

Apparently, Delfin and Divina were not informed about the wedding. But the mother was able to find out about it through Tamara, who appeared on “Wanted sa Radyo” on February 24, 2020 to tell host Raffy Tulfo how he was hurt by Matteo during the wedding.

Tamara told Tulfo that he himself did not even know Matteo and Sarah were getting married on February 20, 2020. According to the bodyguard, when they arrived at Shangri-La at the Fort, Sarah told them that they could already leave.

But Tamara, he said, is an employee of Divina so he reported to the mother, telling her what her daughter had told him. That was how the mother, according to the bodyguard, found out about the location of the secret wedding.

All Tamara wanted was for Matteo to apologize and admit that he did punch him. The bodyguard was not asking for any monetary compensation and he even has no plans filing a case against Sarah’s husband.

Is Tamara just doing this for Divina since she is his boss after all?

Matteo is denying the allegations. If Tamara is not lying, Sarah’s husband can settle things in private and apologize to the bodyguard in private since they are good at doing things in private in the first place.

I hope everything gets settled soon so everyone can live happily ever after. A marriage starting in a controversial note is out of tune.
