Murad Ramazanov (Мурад Рамазанов), 24, of Russia was one of the winners at “ONE: King of the Jungle.” It was the first ONE Championship victory of the undefeated Dagestani mixed martial artist, who is a former World Mixed Martial Arts Association World Champion.

Featuring one Muay Thai title bout, one kickboxing title bout and nine MMA matches, “ONE: King of the Jungle” was a closed-door event held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. In the second bout of the evening, Ramazanov competed in an MMA match in the welterweight division against “Wolverine” Bae Myung Ho (배명호), 33, of South Korea.

Kemp Cheng served as the referee. Action started out fierce with Bae pushing the pace, pressing Ramazanov up against the wall with powerful strikes.

However, Ramazanov defended quite well and was able to weather the early storm. The former WMMAA World Champion then scored on a quick takedown, bringing the action to the mat.

From there, it was all Ramazanov as he operated a heavy top game that saw him take mount and punish Bae. Cheng put a stop to the welterweight contest after 4 minutes and 53 seconds in the first round when the undefeated Russian MMA fighter knocked out his Korean opponent.

By winning at “ONE: King of the Jungle,” Ramazanov maintained his undefeated professional MMA record as he now has 9 wins and 0 loss. On the other hand, Bae now has 17 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw.

Including Russia and South Korea, 13 countries were represented at “ONE: King of the Jungle.” The others were Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the United States.

Training out of Team Mad, Bae was one of the two representatives of South Korea at “ONE: King of the Jungle.” It was his promotional debut.
