A women’s flyweight bout was the latest addition to the “BRAVE CF 37” fight card. Malin “The Herminator” Hermansson, 31, of Örebro, Sweden will take on Manon Fiorot, 30, of Nice, France.
In association with the local mixed martial arts powerhouse AK Fighting Championship, BRAVE Combat Federation will hold “BRAVE CF 37” at Solnahallen in Stockholm, Sweden on April 18, 2020. It will be the Bahrain-based MMA promotion’s first ever event to take place in the Scandinavian country.
Both Hermansson and Fiorot will make their respective BRAVE CF debuts at “BRAVE CF 37.” So far, their match is the only female bout on the card.
Hermansson has been competing professionally since 2017. He holds a professional MMA record of 4 wins and 1 loss.
Before joining BRAVE CF, Hermansson competed in Superior Challenge, Cage Warriors, Bellator MMA and Nerike MMA Series. She is riding a two-bout winning streak.
On September 28, 2019, Hermansson defeated Antonela Begonja Orlić of Croatia and Ireland at “Nerike MMA Series 1” at the Conventum Congress in Örebro. On December 7, 2019, the Swedish MMA fighter defeated Karla Benitez , 41, of Spain at “Superior Challenge 20” at Stockholmsmassan in Stockholm.
On the other hand, Fiorot is coming out of two-bout winning streak. She now has 2 wins and 1 loss under her belt.
Competing professionally since 2018, Fiorot won four bouts. However, two of them were considered exhibition as part of the EFC Worldwide reality show “The Fighter” Season 2.
When Fiorot made her professional MMA debut at “Cage Warriors 94” at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium on June 16, 2018, she lost via split decision to Leah “The Curse” McCourt, 27, of Northern Ireland. In 2019, the French striker won two EFC Worldwide bouts.
In the main event of the evening, Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev, 25, of Sweden will challenge reigning BRAVE Combat Federation Welterweight Champion Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan. The Swedish challenger is an undefeated MMA fighter.
