Hello, everyone. It’s been a while but I thought I’d update you all. I'm currently hospitalized for pneumonia and so, I was tested for Covid-19 and i’ve been waiting for the results for several days now. It’s been a challenging time for me but it cannot compare to the frontliners who have cared for me and to whom I am so grateful. My heart goes out to everyone in these trying times, especially those who risk their lives every day to care for their loved ones. I am hoping you all can join me in prayer for those who are currently sick and their loved ones, for every person struggling to cope in these tough times. And most especially, for the medical workers who are doing their best despite the hurdles. I count this time as an opportunity to be kind. To be a source of love and light. With the grace of God, i can fight this and we all fight this together. ❤️
Calzado did not reveal the hospital where she is currently confined. She is one of the main cast members of “Ang Sa Iyo ay Akin” (What is Yours is Mine), which was supposed to premiere on ABS-CBN at 4:15 p.m. on March 23, 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Ang Sa Iyo ay Akin” also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Maricel Soriano and Sam Milby. Calzado and Sta. Maria play best friends in the show.

A perfect throwback to last September’s Milan Fashion Week! ✨Will forever be grateful to @victoria_belo @dochayden and my @belobeauty family for the amazing experience of seeing shows and being treated to delightful meals in Milan. Although if I were being honest, some of my best moments there were probably spent walking around the city, eating gelato and meeting the countless Filipinos that are working tirelessly far away from their families to provide them with a better future. What a great balance to fashion week, that was! Love and light! ❤️
Born on August 12, 1982 in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, Calzado is the younger sister of Filipino rap group Legit Misfitz member Dash Calzado. Their father is the late TV director and choreographer Lito Calzado while their mother is Maria Antonia Ussher.
On December 19, 2018, Iza and her longtime boyfriend Ben Wintle got married at Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan, Philippines. It was attended by Dash and Iza’s former “Encantadia” co-stars Karylle Tatlonghari, Sunshine Dizon and Diana Zubiri.
The last film Iza starred in was the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Culion,” which also starred Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Meryll Soriano, Joem Bascon and Mai Fanglayan, among others. Here is the official trailer:
