Guyana is the only country in South America in which English is the official language. The country is one of the founding members of the Caribbean Community organization.
A former British dominion, Guyana became a republic on February 23, 1970. Nine indigenous tribes reside in the country namely Akawaio, Kalina, Lokono, Macushi, Patamona, Pemon, Wai Wai, Wapishana and Wara.
More than 70 percent of the natural habitat in Guyana is still pristine and it has one of the highest levels of biodiversity in the world. Among its top tourists spots are Mount Roraima, the Kanuku Mountains, the Iwokrama Rainforest, the Surama Village and the Kaieteur Falls.

#2 Carey Vanier Jr is an amazing athlete! He comes from a strong line of athletes. His Uncle is 3 time NCAA Wrestling All American and 2 time NCAA national final. His father is a beast! He is an NJCAA Wrestling All American, multiple Jiu-Jitsu National Champ, and a vet of Bellator Fighting Championship, he was tournament semi-finalist and fought on multiple cards.
Vanier Jr recently made wrestling history at his school, being the first wrestler to place at the Mn State wrestling tournament, one of the toughest tournaments in the states. I can’t wait to see what he does in the future. This upcoming football season should be big for him. He has a bright future ahead of him on the mat, football field, and maybe the cage.
