“Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai, 21, of Thailand has earned his first victory in ONE Championship‘s striking-only league ONE Super Series. The Estonian martial artist was one of the “ONE: No Surrender 3” winners.
Featuring four Muay Thai and two MMA matches, “ONE: No Surrender 3” took place in Bangkok, Thailand on August 21, 2020. In the main event of the evening, Kulabdam fought his countryman “The Million Dollar Baby” Sangmanee Klong SuanPluResort, 23, in a ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament Semifinal bout.
Yongsak Na Songkhla served as the referee. Sangmanee and Kulabdam exchanged fiery combinations at the center of the ONE Championship ring to start the contest.
Sangmanee was loose and relaxed as Kulabdam launched sharp uppercuts and hooks from just out of range. However, an explosive left straight toward the end of the first round connected for the latter, tagging former flush to the jaw.
After 2 minutes and 45 seconds, Songkhla put a stop to the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament Semifinal bout. Kulabdam knocked out Sangmanee.
Winning at “ONE: No Surrender 3” improved the professional Muay Thai record of Kulabdam to 62 wins, 10 losses and 5 draws. On the other hand, Sangmanee now has 182 wins, 28 losses and 5 draws.
Eight countries were represented at “ONE: No Surrender 3” namely Australia, Cambodia, Estonia, France, Japan, Thailand, the U.K. and the U.S. Kulabdam and Sangmanee were two of the five fighters who represented the host country.
Kulabdam is not set to face his countryman Rodlek PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym, 30, in the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament Final round. The latter replaced their fellow Thai fighter Saemapetch Fairtex, 25, who won the first semifinal bout but had to pull out due to injury.
On September 6, 2019, Kulabdam made his ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Immortal Triumph” at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He defeated Bobo “The Panther” Sacko, 32, of France in a kickboxing contest in the flyweight division via unanimous decision.
