Alyssa Boston of Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada competed against 54 other Miss Universe Canada 2019 candidates at the John Bassett Theatre of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario on August 17, 2019. She won the title.
Runner-up to Boston was Montreal’s Megha Sandhu. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Ontario’s Sasha Lombardi, Toronto’s Bianca Foo and Ontario’s Svetlana Mamaeva.
On December 8, 2019, Boston represented Canada at Miss Universe 2019 and competed against 89 other candidates at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She was unplaced.
Miss Universe Canada 2020
On October 24, 2020, Boston will go back to the John Bassett Theatre to crown her successor. It is the 18th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Canada’s Miss Universe and Miss International candidates.
