Alyssa Boston of Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada won Miss Universe Canada 2019 at the John Bassett Theatre of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario on August 17, 2019. She competed against 54 other candidates.
On December 8, 2019, Boston represented Canada at Miss Universe 2019 and competed against 89 other candidates at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She was unplaced.
On October 24, 2020, Boston went back to the John Bassett Theatre and crowned her successor Nova Stevens of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The latter will represent the country at Miss Universe 2020.
