Professional golfers Daniel Chopra, 46, of Sweden and Anthony Kang, 47, of South Korea will co-host the 2020 Masters Tournament with former professional cricketer Jason de la Peña, 47, of England live on FOX Sports from November 13-16, 2020.
The 2020 Masters Tournament will take place at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, United States from November 12-15, 2020. It is the 84th edition of the sports event, which is one of the four major championships in professional golf.
Established on March 22, 1934, the Masters Tournament is traditionally held in the first week of April. However, due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the next edition was postponed.
On November 11, 2020, I had the chance to interview Chopra, Kang and de la Peña about their thoughts on the 2020 Masters Tournament. One of the questions I asked was, “If you have to pick just one, who do you think or who do you want to win the Masters this year?”
Here are their answers:
DANIEL CHOPRA: “I want Rory McIlroy to win. I think Dustin Johnson will win.”
ANTHONY KANG: “For me, I would like to see Tiger Woods win because I think having Tiger win again, no matter where Tiger wins, it will be great because he will break the all-time PGA Tour record for number of victories, 83 wins. That will be great but I don’t think he will win. I’ll go for a dark horse, dark horse, Tyrell Hatton.
JASON DE LA PENA: “I would love McIlroy to win to get that career grand slam and obviously kind of rewrite the wrongs of 2011 in his implosion when he was leading by a mile walk. It’s 54 holes, is it? I think Jon Rahm’s gonna do it. He won a Memorial. He won a BMW. He played well at the Zozo and I think he’s going to win it. The yellow and red. It’s Spain, my friend. He’s carrying the flag.”
