Miss Universe Spain 2019 Natalie Ortega Tafjord of Barcelona was unplaced in Miss Universe 2019. On November 21, 2020, she will crown her successor at the Los Olivos Beach Resort in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
Miss Universe Spain 2020 is the first edition of the Spanish national beauty pageant under the Nuestra Belleza España Organization. It will be the eighth edition of the contest that selects Spain’s representative to Miss Universe.
Nuria Montejo, 20, Salamanca, who is a transwoman, is one of the favorites among the 17 Miss Universe Spain 2020 candidates. However, I don’t see her following Miss Universe Spain 2018 Angela Ponce‘s footsteps just yet.
I think Montejo is still unpolished and she may win the title in the future after gaining more experience and training. For me, these three candidates are the most likely ones to win the Miss Universe Spain 2020 crown:
