Fang Fang, a Chinese student at CSU East Bay, was involved with Chinese espionage while networking with U.S. politicians from 2011 to 2015. Her connections included Eric Swalwell and several mayors. U.S. officials investigated her activities, and she left the country in 2015, barred from reentry, amid allegations of election-law violations.
