Casey Christopher “Tank” Goodson Jr. was an American gun rights advocate from Columbus, Ohio, United States. He was killed by Michael Jason Meade, a deputy from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Franklin County, Ohio.
After a dental appointment on the morning of December 4, 2020, Goodson stopped at Subway on his way home to buy sandwiches for himself, his grandmother Sharon Payne, then 72, and his younger brother. “My grandson just got shot in the back when he come in the house,” Payne told the dispatcher. “I don’t know if he’s okay or not ’cause he’s still out there.”
