Taylor Swift will release her ninth studio album titled “evermore” via Republic Records on December 11, 2020. Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, USA to Scott Kingsley Swift and Andrea Gardner Finlay Swift, Taylor will turn 30 on December 13, 2020.

“evermore” is a companion project to Swift’s eighth studio album “folklore,” which was released by Republic Records on July 24, 2020. Both are surprise albums.

The standard edition of “folklore” has 16 songs. Included in the album are “Exile” featuring Bon Iver, “Cardigan,” “Mirrorball,” “The 1” and “My Tears Ricochet.”

Taylor Swift

As a child, Taylor traveled regularly to New York City, New York, USA for vocal and acting lessons. In 2000, she traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, USA with her mother to visit record labels and submit demo tapes of karaoke covers of Dolly Parton and Dixie Chicks‘ songs.

In 2005, Taylor signed to Big Machine Records, which is based in Nashville. She made her film acting debut in the romantic comedy film “Valentine’s Day”, which hit theaters in the U.S. on February 12, 2010.

In 2018, Taylor shifted to Republic Records, which is based in New York City. On August 23, 2019, the label released her seventh studio album titled “Lover”.

On January 31, 2020, Netflix released “Miss Americana”, a documentary film about Taylor’s singing career. It was directed by Lana Wilson.
