Dolal Bayle Idd was an African-American man from Minnesota, United States. Here are 13 more things about him:

  1. His parents are Somali parents.
  2. He has 10 siblings including Dalal Bayle Idd and Mohamed Amin Bayle Idd. Their father Bayle Adod Gelle runs a home health-care agency. The family lives in Eden Prairie, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
  3. On September 20, 2016, he was booked into Hennepin County Jail.
  4. In 2017, he was had a felony drug conviction.
  5. In 2018, he had a felony theft conviction.
  6. On July 11, 2018, he fired a Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun, which was stolen out of North Dakota, in the bathroom in the basement of his parents’ house along Lee Drive in Eden Prairie while two children were sleeping on the same level. He was not allowed in the house because he “scares the children,” SW News Media quoted his mother as saying.
  7. On October 26, 2018, a warrant for his arrest was signed.
  8. In 2019, he had a misdemeanor conviction for carrying a pistol in a public place.
  9. He was taking classes at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota.
  10. He was accused of stealing a vehicle. He was arrested on October 2, 2020 by the Bloomington Police Department and was released on October 3, 2020.
  11. At 6:15 p.m. on December 30, 2020, he was in a car with a female passenger. He was fatally shot by the Minneapolis Police Department in a traffic stop at the Holiday Gas station near East 36th Street and Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to the MPD officers, he was a suspect in a felony and he fired at them first.
  12. He died at the of 23. After conducting an autopsy, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner listed the cause of his death as homicide.
