On November 3, 2020, Joe Biden won the U.S. presidential election, defeating Donald Trump. On January 6, 2021, Trump’s supporters breached the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. while a joint session of the U.S. Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Biden’s victory.

  • On December 4, 2016, he donated $119.44 to Trump‘s campaign.

2017

  • On January 20, 2017, he donated $119.44 again to Trump’s campaign.

2020

  • In February 2020, Glory Doughnuts & Diner fired him.

2021

  • On January 6, 2021, he entered the U.S. Capitol building wearing a Navistar badge, paraded a flag with the words “Trump is my President”, wielded a hatchet and smashed two windows with a flagpole and was photographed beside his fellow rioter Jake Angeli
  • On January 7, 2021, Navistar Direct Marketing announced that he was terminated. In a statement, the company explained, “While we support all employees’ right to peaceful, lawful exercise of free speech, any employee demonstrating dangerous conduct that endangers the health and safety of others will no longer have an employment opportunity with Navistar Direct Marketing.”
  • On January 8, 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was informed by his lawyer Charles Burnham that he would turn himself in. 
  • On January 11, 2021, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather signed a criminal complaint filed against him by an FBI agent.
  • On the morning of January 13, 2021, turned himself in at the 2nd District precinct station of the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia where he was charged with entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a restricted building and parading, demonstrating or picketing. 
  • On the afternoon of January 13, 2021, a judge ordered him to be released and prohibited him from travelling to Washington, D.C. except for court appearances. 
  • On January 29, 2021, he pleaded not guilty on all the charges filed against him due to his U.S. Capitol riot participation.
  • On March 19, 2021, he was indicted.

2022

  • On March 9, 2022, a superseding indictment was filed against him.
  • On July 12, 2022, he was found guilty of the felony offense of destruction of government property, and six misdemeanor offenses, including entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a U.S. Capitol building; engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly conduct in a U.S. Capitol building; committing an act of physical violence in the Capitol grounds of U.S. Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a U.S. Capitol building.
  • On October 26, 2022, U.S .District Court Judge Trevor McFadden sentenced him to five years of probation, including 240 days of home detention, and ordered him to pay $2,048 in restitution. 

2025

  • In May 2025, he will turn 31.
