That day,  Trump’s supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 residential election. During the riot, he was dressed in a knit hat that resembles a knight’s helmet and beard, a leather jacket with an American flag emblazoned on the back and snow pants. He entered Oregon senator Jeff Merkley’s office where he had his muddy boots propped on a table. (c)
