11 celebrities praise The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV Pepsi Halftime show performance on Twitter

Professionally known as The Weeknd, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, 30, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada performed the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, United States on February 7, 2021. It is part of Super Bowl LV, which determined the 2020 National Football League season.

Dave Meyers executive produced Super Bowl LV halftime show. The Weeknd put up $7 million of his own money to “make this halftime show be what he envisioned,” his manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, 41, told Billboard.

The Weeknd sang nine songs “Call Out My Name,” “Starboy,” “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “I Feel It Coming,” “Save Your Tears,” “Earned It,” “House of Balloons/Glass Table Girls” and “Blinding Lights.” The show was around 14 minutes long.
