In 2020, Larry sent hundreds of text messages to friends and family complaining about Maya who he accused of having an affair, according to an attorney named Billy Little Jr. Despite having no evidence of the affair, Larry asked her supervisor to move her male co-workers, according to the attorney.

Larry previously lived in Murrieta, California and in Hawaii, USA, particularly in Pearl City and Honolulu. Here are 13 more things about him:

  1. In August 1997, his father reported to Pearl Harbor in Oahu, Hawaii. On April 30, 1997, he stabbed a boy,  then 17, in Bay Terraces, San Diego, California. The victim recovered in the hospital while he was arrested. (a)(b)
  2. In 1999, he and Maya got married. In the same year, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Honolulu. (b)(c)(d)
  3. From 2000 to 2005, he served in the U.S. Navy and had no disciplinary actions. (b)
  4. On December 6, 2001, he was assigned to the Naval Medical Center San Diego where he carried out routine optician duties with no combat service. (b)
  5. In 2003, he received a Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal, a National Defense service medal, a Global War on Terrorism medal, a good conduct medal and a pistol sharpshooter ribbon. When his U.S. Navy active service ended on August 27, 2005, his rank was Hospital Corpsman, Third Class (HM3). His U.S. Navy reserve obligation was terminated on January 10, 2008. (b)
  6. In January 2010, Maya gave birth to their first daughter. She gave birth to their second daughter in 2011 and to their son in 2016. (c)
  7. On June 28, 2020, he sent to someone via a text message the Bible verses Proverbs 5: 3-13, which contain the phrases “the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey” and “her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave.” On September 16, 2020, he sent to someone a photo of what looks like an altar with a photo of him and Maya surrounded by candles. On December 31, 2020, he allegedly sent an email to a spellcaster, saying: “Can you hex to have her hurt enough that she will have to depend on me or need my help?” (e)(f)
  8. On January 3, 2021, he and Maya argued over a Jeep Wrangler they brought with them on a family camping trip to the Glamis Sand Dunes in California, according to her sister Maricris Tabalanza Drouaillet and Drouaillet’s husband Richard Drouaillet. Another family member claimed that during that trip, she said, “If anything happened to me, it would be Larry.” Between September 2020 and January 11, 2021, he spent$1,154.05 for 70 spells. 9. He was the last person to see Maya on January 7, 2021, according to Richard. Maricris reported her missing on January 9, 2021. He and Maya were supposed to travel with their three children to Big Bear Lake, San Bernardino County, California on January 9, 2021 for the eldest child’s 11th birthday. On January 11, 2021, he let Little in their house on Paseo Los Gatos. Little noticed a hole in the bedroom and discovered a freezer was missing from the garage, which the lawyer later found in one of his relatives. He later accused Little of falsely presenting himself as an Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) agent to gain access into his home, which the lawyer denied. (e)(g)
  10. He had retained a lawyer and was no longer cooperating with the investigation related to Maya’s disappearance, Maricris revealed on February 4, 2021. He discussed paying someone $20,000 to kill Maya’s alleged boyfriend, a witness who allegedly heard the discussion revealed on April 5, 2021. (g)(k)
  11. He owns 22 firearms including three shotguns, five handguns and 7 AR-15s. Only eight of the firearms are legally registered to him. In June 2022, the criminal case was halted after his defense attorney Bonita Martinez declared a doubt as to his competency to stand trial. On September 26, 2022, criminal proceedings were reinstated as San Diego Superior Court Judge Cindy Davis found that he is mentally competent. (n)(o)
  13. On October 11, 2022, Judge Dwayne Moring allowed him to have written communication with his children but prohibited telephonic communication and in-person visits. On October 12, 2022, the judge ruled that any letters must be reviewed by the children’s court-appointed guardian. He will be 42 years old when his murder trial starts on September 14, 2023. (f)(p)

  1. Larry is a pussy, how on Earth you’re going to tell your wife’s employer to change the male staff because of his insecurities. He must have a small dick. Get a warrant, use blue light, and get a hound to sniff out the odor, you’ll find the body.

    1. A woman never leaves her kids behind.
    2. If there’s an alert of foul play, it is a foul play.
    3. Larry is a bitch with a small dick.

    1. There have been women who murder their kids and report them missing. I have a friend whose wife just packed up and left him with 2 kids. She left the state, said didn’t want to be a mother anymore. So number 1 on your list isn’t reality. Other than that, I think he did it. A religious nut with way to many insecurities and anger issues.

  2. I’ve been saying this from day 1. Everything leads to Larry. Larry has the answers. If they look hard enough at the house and at Larry, they will find answers. There is NO WAY any respectable loving Husband wouldnt look for His Wife or be concerned. Larry has shown no concern…His story doesnt add up…He presents himself as a deceptive person. Larry is guilty!

  5. I been having this strange idea ever since I realized how for so many months with so many volunteers looking for Maya “On Top” of the earth’s surface with absolutely no clues whatsoever…. Why Not look “below” the surface!!? As in like our Sewer systems!?🤔 For some reason I thought they were vietnamese. I thought of the Tunnel Rats and their perfect “hiding places” in the Vietnam War!! Maybe I’m being silly!?…or am I?

  6. Living so close to Tijuana, has anyone contacted authorities there and down the state to help them with search. It is quite easy to get rid of a body gown in the gullies and canyons of baja

  7. Larry and another person are involved in Maya’s disappearance. Someone having connection with the south of the border? It was premeditated… and the kids have the key to solve the enigma: 9 gun shots heard in the neighborhood ( easy to believe, shots of a the 40 caliber missing) . His poor 4 yo boy has the clues, the other two girls, his daughters too. And the police have it all figured out. Unfortunately, in Mexico the body will never be found neither the murder weapon…Just the car will be recovered in a unrecognizable state to the untrained eye…

  8. Larry Killed Her. Why Didn’t The Brother JR break Into The Master Bedroom When He Came To the House The Very Next Day??
That Was A Miss On Her Family’s Part. She Was Probably Laying Dead In The Bedroom. WHY Did The Neighbor Not Call The Police When He Heard The Gunshots? OR The Yelling?? That Neighbor Should Be Ashamed That They Didn’t Call The Cops. He Probably Chopped Her Up and Spread Her Body Across The Border Of California and Mexico.
I Hope They Find Her. I Hope That Maya’s Family Get Custody Of Her Children. They SHOULDN’T Be With The Murderer’s Family!!!
They Will Have Continued Contact With A Murderer. I Feel So Sorry For Those Children. They May Even Know What Happened To Their Mother. I Hope Not.
