Hayden Brax was 21 years old when she represented Kansas at Miss USA 2020 at the Exhibition Center and the Soundstage in Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee, USA on November 9, 2020. She competed against 50 other candidates including Mississippi’s Asya Branch, who won the title.

Brax was unplaced. Runner-up to Branch was Idaho’s Kim Layne and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Oklahoma’s Maria Jane Davis, Indiana’s Alexis Lete and Alabama’s Kelly Hutchinson.
