Sunrise, Florida’s Jarrod DeFerrari arrested again

Jarrod DeFerrari , 24, of Sunrise, Broward County, Florida, United States is in jail again. She is an American militant Antifa activist born biologically male.

As a transwoman, DeFerrari goes by Sofie Thema. Her former girlfriend Leslie Johnson is also a transwoman and a militant Antifa activist.

On November 4, 2020, DeFerrari, Johnson and other masked militants were arrested in a parking lot garage in Portland, Oregon, USA. That day, they allegedly destroyed property worth more than $5,000 at Riverside Tobacco, more than $1,000 at St. André Bessette Catholic Church and more than $1,000 at Alco Properties in Portland.

A deputy found a hammer, a gas mask, spray paint and an illegal mortar explosive in DeFerrari’s backpack. She was charged with first-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful sale, possession or use of fireworks, felony second-degree burglary and attempted second-degree arson.

All of the charges were dropped and DeFerrari was quickly bailed out. On December 31, 2020, a grand jury indicted her on charges of one count of felony riot and three counts of first-degree criminal mischief.

On May 19, 2021, DeFerrari allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven store near Jesuit High School in Beaverton, Oregon. She allegedly pointed a gun at the cashier’s head and demanding money from the register.

On May 21, 2021, DeFerrari was found in an unoccupied house on SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in Portland. She was arrested, charged with criminal trespass with a firearm, released and asked not to return to the home.

On May 29, 2021, DeFerrari allegedly carried a shotgun, a loaded handgun, restricted knives, shells and metal knuckles onto a TriMet bus. On June 3, 2021, she was arrested and released to the custody of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Hillsboro, Washington County, Oregon.

On June 8, 2021, DeFerrari was found squatting in the vacant residence in Portland again. On June 28, 2021, she was arrested for first-degree unlawful use of a weapon and menacing while she was already in custody at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro related to previous charges of first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, interfering with a peace officer, contempt of court and second-degree criminal mischief.
