Mister Friendship International is one of the online international beauty pageants held amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. John Mark “Migo” de Vera, 25, of Cavite, Philippines won the inaugural edition of the contest on June 30, 2021.
De Vera and 17 others competed for the title virtually. Including him, four of the candidates are from the Philippines.
Hailing from Bangkok, Thailand, Joe Kampol Thongchai is the founder of Mister Friendship International. He served as one of the judges along with Mister Global 2019 Jong Woo Kim and Miss World Brazil 2008 Tamara Almeida.

Hailing from Imus, Cavite, de Vera earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Adamson University in Ermita, Metro Manila, Philippines. He is 5’8″ tall.
The first Mister International Friendship titleholder is interested in environmental protection, particularly in waste management. He worked as an environmental director for a school organization.
