Yesenia Vidales, 24, graduated from Phoenix College in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, United States in 2018 with an associate’s degree in communication. She turned 24 on October 6, 2020.

On January 5, 2020, Vidales represented Uptown Phoenix at Miss Arizona USA 2019, competed against 33 other candidates at the Ikeda Theater of the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Maricopa County and won the title. On July 11, 2021, she crowned her successor Cassidy Jo Jacks of Mesa at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert, Maricopa County.
