Professionally known as Paddy Pimblett, Patrick Pimblett is a British professional mixed martial artist whose fight name is The Baddy. He is 5’10” tall and he competes in the lightweight division.

On March 29, 2021, Pimblett was officially signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. On September 4, 2021, he improved his professional MMA record to 17 wins and 3 losses.

Pimblett is Christian and a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. Here are 13 more things about him:

  1. He was born and raised in Liverpool, Merseyside, England. His father is an entrepreneur while his mother is a homemaker.
  2. In 2010, he started training MMA.
  3. As an amateur MMA fighter, he submitted Scott Gregory on September 11, 20211 and Mick Doyle on October 29, 2011.
  4. On October 16, 2012, he made his professional MMA debut in the Olympian MMA Championships event “OMMAC 15: Legacy” in Liverpool where he knocked out Nathan Thompson. On December 1, 2012, he submitted Dougie Scott at a Cage Contender event in Liverpool.
  5. On July 6, 2013, he defeated Florian Calin via unanimous decision at the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship event “CWFC 56” in London, England. On October 5, 2013, he had his first MMA loss when Cameron Else submitted him at “CWFC 60” in Kentish Town, North London, England.
  6. In 2014, he defeated three CWFC opponents namely Martin Sheridan, Conrad Hayes and Stephen Martin.
  7. In 2015, he submitted two Full Contact Contender opponents namely Kevin Petshi and Miguel Haro both via rear-naked choke.
  8. In 2016, he defeated four CWFC opponents namely Ashleigh Grimshaw, Teddy Violet, Johnny Frachey and Julian Erosa. He became the Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion when he defeated Frachey on September 10, 2016. at “CWFC 78” in Liverpool.
  9. On April 1, 2017, he lost the Cage Warriors Featherweight Championship belt to Nad Narimani, who defeated him via unanimous decision at “CWFC 82” in Liverpool.
  10. On February 24, 2018, he submitted Alexis Savvidis at “Cage Warriors 90” in Liverpool. On September 1, 2018, he lost via unanimous decision to Soren Bak at “Cage Warriors 96” in Liverpool.
  11. In February 2020, he took to Instagram to share a photo of his proposal to his longtime girlfriend on the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand. On March 20, 2020, he knocked out Decky Dalton at “Cage Warriors 113” in Manchester, England.
  12. On March 20, 2021, he submitted Davide Martinez at “Cage Warriors 122” in London.
  13. He was 26 years old when he made his UFC debut on September 4, 2021 at “UFC Vegas 36” in Enterprise, Nevada, United States where he knocked out Luigi Vendramini.
