Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2019 Nyekachi Douglas, 23, of Rivers State, Nigeria will crown her successor on September 18, 2021. It will be the 33rd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Nigeria’s Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Supranational candidates.

Douglas was crowned on October 11, 2019 at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Bayelsa, Nigeria. Her runner-up Olutosin Araromi, 28, of Taraba State was Miss Universe Nigeria 2019 while second runner-up Pamela Ifejoku of Abuja State was MBGN Tourism 2019 and third runner-up Akeela Aminu, 23, of Edo State was MBGN Ecowas 2019.

Araromi finished in the Top 20 at Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on December 8, 2019. Douglas finished in the Top 5 at Miss World 2019 on December 14, 2019.

In 2020, Douglas and Araromi were not able to crown their respective successors due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. On August 21, 2021, Aminu was unplaced at Miss Supranational 2021 in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland.
