Who is Chantel O’Brian?
Chantel O’Brianis a Haitian-Bahamian etiquette coach and beauty queen born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She represented the Bahamas in Miss World and Miss Universe.
A Haitian immigrant’s daughter, O’Brian serves as a Creole translator for the Haitian community on her island. An experienced social media coordinator, she is an expert in planning, implementing and monitoring company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.
Aside from Nassau, O’Brian has lived in other parts of the Bahamas including Ocean Cay. She is an alumna of Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

- On December 13, 2021, she represented the Bahamas at Miss Universe 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates in Eilat, Israel. She finished in the Top 10, making her the first person representing the Bahamas to place in Miss Universe.

- On July 31, 2022, she crowned her successor Miss Bahamas Universe 2022 Angel Cartwright at the Atlantis Showroom on Paradise Island.
- On January 5, 2024, she turned 30.
