Shree Saini is an Indian-American model, ballerina and beauty queen who lives in Seattle, Washington, United States. She has lived in other parts of Washington including Ellensburg and Moses Lake, where she grew up.

A survivor of a congenital heart condition. Shree is an advocate for heart health. In Moses Lake, she was involved in a major car accident in Moses Lake, which left her with facial burns.

Born in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, Shree speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. She is Ekta Saini‘s daughter.

  1. In 2001, she declared to her preschool class teacher Mamta Dasaur that she wanted to be Miss World. In the same year, she and her family moved in the U.S.
  2. In 2008, she started having a permanent pacemaker.
  3. In 2010, she started her training as a ballet dancer.
  4. In 2015, she enrolled at the University of Washington to pursue a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She also participated in non-degree summer courses at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
  5. In 2016, she studied entrepreneurship at Stanford University in Stanford, California, USA.
  6. On July 30, 2017, she enrolled at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, USA to study acting.
  7. As Miss India USA 2017, she was crowned Miss India Worldwide 2018 in Fords, New Jersey, USA.
  8. When she represented Washington at Miss World America 2019, she won four challenges namely People’s Choice, Beauty with a Purpose, Top Influencers Award and Entrepreneur Challenge. She collapsed and was hospitalized right before the coronation night on October 12, 2019 at The Orleans Hotel ad Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
  9. In 2020, she received the World Peace Messenger award from Passion Vista.
  10. On April 21, 2021, Kittitas County, Washington created Shree Saini Day to support her continuous work for Miss World’s Beauty with a Purpose intitiative. On October 2, 2021, she was officially appointed as Miss World America 2021, making her the first Indian-American woman and first Asian woman to win the title.
  11. She was 25 years old when she was crowned Miss World America 2021.
  12. On December 16, 2021, she will represent the U.S. at Miss World 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
  13. After the final year of battery left in her pacemaker in 2022, she will undergo replacement surgery.
