Michèle Ange Sandra Akomo Minkata represented Cameroon in the 67 edition of Miss World and the 70th edition of Miss Universe. These are two of the six grand slam international beauty pageants along with Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.

Minkata is a Cameroonian entrepreneur, musician and beauty queen from Yaoundé, Cameroon. She loves singing, playing basketball and travelling.

  • On October 24, 2015, she represented Foumban at Miss West Africa Cameroon 2016 and competed against nine other finalists. She was runner-up to Foje Jencey.
  • On July 30, 2016, she competed against 25 other Miss Cameroun 2016 candidates at the Yaoundé Convention Center in Yaoundé. She was fourth runner-up to Nguimfack.
  • On November 18, 2017, she represented Cameroon at Miss World 2017 and competed against 117 other candidates at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. She was unplaced but finished in the Top 20 in the talent competition.

2020s

  • On November 7, 2021, she was appointed as Cameroon’s Miss Universe 2021 candidate.
  • On December 12, 2021, she represented Cameroon at Miss Universe 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel. She was unplaced.
