Las Vegas, Nevada’s Katrina Alspaugh removed from Allegiant Air flight, yells, ‘Let’s go, Brandon!’


Katrina Lee Alspaugh-Dick, 51, of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, United States was recently arrested. She was charged with violating airport rules.

The Las Vegas resident was booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. As of November 24, 2021, she was no longer an inmate at the facility.

Alspaugh-Dick previously lived in Orem, Utah, USA. On November 21, 2021, she allegedly tried to punch another passenger who complained she was not wearing a face covering at the security checkpoint at McCarran International Airport in Paradise, Clark County.

When officers arrived at the checkpoint, Alspaugh-Dick was uncooperative and she refused to provide her identification. The other passenger she allegedly tried to punch declined to press charges so she was released and allowed to proceed to her Allegiant Air flight.

However, a flight attendant had to remove her from the flight because she refused to wear a face mask when she boarded the flight. As officers were were escorting her off the jet bridge in a wheelchair, she yelled, “Let’s go, Brandon!”

On October 2, 2021, Brandon L. Brown, 28, of Woodbridge, Virginia, USA won the 2021 Sparks 300 at Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama, USA, which was the first NASCAR Xfinity Series race he won. While being interviewed by NBC reporter Kelli Stavast, 41, of Denver, Colorado, USA, some in the crowd can be heard chanting “F–k Joe Biden” but in her broadcast, she said, “You can hear the chants from the crowd, ‘Let’s go, Brandon!'”


Founded in 1997 as WestJet Express, Allegiant Air is an ultra-low cost airline that operates scheduled and charter flights. It is wholly owned by Allegiant Travel Company.

Allegiant Air is the 14th largest commercial airline in North America. Its corporate headquarters are in Summerlin, Clark County.
