  8. On February 13, 1984, she was found dead behind a warehouse on Irving Boulevard in the Stemmons Corridor in Dallas. She was sexually assaulted and strangled with her own leg warmers allegedly by Edward Morgan. She was 21.
  9. In 2009, officials collected deoxyribonucleic acid samples during an autopsy but no suspect was identified. In 2018, the case was reopened. Through a forensic genetic genealogy analysis, investigators identified Morgan as her killer.
  10. On February 18, 2022, Morgan was arrested for her murder.
