Miss Alaska USA 2021 Madison Edwards, 25, of Anchorage, Alaska, United States will crown her successor at Bartlett High School in Anchorage on March 19, 2022. It is the 71st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Alaska’s official candidate for Miss USA, the winner of which will compete in Miss Universe.
From 1952 to 1958, Alaska competed in Miss Universe as a territory. Since 1958, the state has been competing in Miss USA.

Alaska currently has five Miss USA placements, including the second runner-up finish of Patricia Marlin in 1964 and the Top 6 finish of Karin Meyer in 1990. The most recent one was in 2017 when Alyssa London finished in the Top 10.
There are six women competing for the Miss Alaska USA 2022 title. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 3:
