Troy Edward Driver, 41, of Fallon, Churchill County, Nevada, United States allegedly approached Naomi Christine Irion, 18, of Fernley, Lyon County, Nevada just before 5:30 a.m. on March 12, 2022. They were strangers.
That morning, Irion was inside her 1992 Mercury Sable at the parking lot of a Walmart in Fernley, waiting for the shuttle to take her to work. She works at Panasonic Energy of North America in the Reno, Nevada area.
Driver allegedly got into the driver’s seat of Irion’s car, which left in an unknown direction with her in the passenger seat. On March 15, 2022, the car was found in an industrial park about a mile from the Walmart.
Just before 5:00 p.m. on March 25, 2022, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Driver at a home off Alcorn Road in Fallon. Meanwhile, Irion is still missing.
Aside from Fallon, Driver has lived in other parts of Nevada including Spring Creek and Silver Springs. He also previously lived in Ukiah, California, USA.
Irion is Herve Irion and Diana Irion‘s daughter. Naomi lives in Fernley with her brother Casey Valley, 32, who reported her missing after failing to return home on March 13, 2022.
Naomi is 5’11” tall and weighs around 240lbs. She was wearing a blue Panasonic shirt, a gray cardigan sweater, gray pants and knock-off Ugg boots and had an iPhone and a dark-colored purse at the time of her disappearance.
