Nisa Van Baelen, 22, of Tessenderlo, Limburg, Belgium was crowned Miss Limburg 2020 on September 15, 2019. On January 11, 2020, she competed against 31 other Miss Belgium 2020 candidates at the Plopsaland Theater in De Panne, Belgium and finished in the Top 15.
On June 26, 2021, Van Baelen represented Limburg at Miss Exclusive 2021, competed against 13 other candidates at Sotto’s in Zottegem, East Flanders, Belgium and won the title. Also crowned were Miss Exclusive Air 2021 Selena Ali of Antwerp, Miss Exclusive Water 2021 Lisa Laurijssen of Antwerp and Miss Exclusive Fire 2021 Gaëlle Vlamynck of West Flanders.
Miss Exclusive 2022
On May 7, 2022, Van Baelen will go back to Sotto’s Zottegem to crown her successor. It is the 21st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Belgium’s Miss Earth candidate.

Belgium was represented in Miss Earth by one of the winners of Miss Benelux from 2002 to 2010 and Miss Belgium International from 2011 to 2013. Miss Exclusive started representing the country in the international beauty pageant in 2014.
On October 29, 2021, Miss Exclusive Fire 2020 Cassidy Boel represented Belgium at Miss Intercontinental 2021 and competed against 71 other candidates at the Sharm El-Sheikh Museum in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. She was unplaced.
On November 5, 2021, Miss Exclusive Water 2020 Amber Vermeulen represented Belgium at The Miss Globe 2021 and competed against 49 other candidates at the Tirana Olympic Park in Tirana, Albania. She was unplaced.
Instead of Van Baelen, Ali represented Belgium at Miss Earth 2021 on November 21, 2021, competed against 79 other candidates in a virtual coronation ceremony and finished in the Top 20. It is the first Miss Earth placement of Belgium.
