13 most beautiful Miss Universe Philippines 2022 finalists

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez, 26, of Cebu City, Philippines will crown her successor at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on April 30, 2022. It will be the third edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ official Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, the Philippines has 26 Miss Universe placements including four crowns, which were won by Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018. The country has been placing in Miss Universe consecutively since 2010.

In 2020, Rabiya Mateo finished in the Top 21. In 2021, Gomez finished in the Top 5.

There are 32 finalists competing for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 title. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 13 candidates:
