The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on April 30, 2022. It is the third edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate.
Pia Wurtzbach, 32, of the Philippines, Iris Mittenaere, 29, of France and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, 26, of South Africa will host the ceremony. They were crowned Miss Universe in 2015, 2016 and 2017, respectively.

Representing the Philippines, Rabiya Mateo, 25, of Iloilo City finished in the Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020 and Beatrice Luigi Gomez, 27, of Cebu finished in the Top 5 at Miss Universe 2021. Coincidentally, they are both from a city, they are both from Visayas, they have not competed in a national beauty pageant before Miss Universe Philippines and they competed against beauty pageant veterans.
I think these are just coincidences. I believe the winner this year may not be from Visayas and may be a beauty pageant veteran. Here are my Miss Universe Philippines 2022 predictions:
