On September 15, 2019, Michelle Dee represented Makati at Miss World Philippines 2019 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. She won the title.

On December 14, 2019, Dee represented the Philippines at Miss World 2019 and competed against 110 other candidates at the ExCel London in London, England, United Kingdom. She finished in the Top 12.

On April 30, 2022, Dee represented Makati at Miss Universe Philippines 2022 and competed against 30 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay. She finished second and was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022.
