Mountain Province has 10 municipalities namely Barlig, Bauko, Besao, Bontoc, Natonin, Paracelis, Sabangan, Sadanga, Sagada and Tadian. The capital of the province is Bontoc, which is around 155 kilometers way from Baguio, the only independent city in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Roxanne Allison Agnaonao Baeyens was born in Baguio to Walter Baeyens of Brussels, Belgium and Julia Agnaonao of Catengan, Besao. On July 26, 2020, Roxanne competed against 32 other Miss Philippines Earth 2020 candidates in a virtual coronation ceremony and won the title.

On November 29, 2020, Roxanne represented the Philippines at Miss Earth 2020 and competed against 81 other candidates in a virtual coronation ceremony. She ranked third and was crowned Miss Earth-Water 2020.
