2022 Northern Samar congressmen, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Northern Samar is one of the six provinces in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines. The others are Biliran, Leyte, Samar, Eastern Samar and Southern Leyte.

Catarman is the capital of Northern Samar. The municipality is home to the University of Eastern Philippines, which was established as Catarman Farm School in 1918.

Edwin Marino Co Ongchuan was the congressman of the second district of Northern Samar from June 30, 2016 to June 30, 2019 and has been the governor of the province since June 30, 2019. He turned 54 on March 3, 2022.

On October 3, 2021, Julie Tarrayo represented Northern Samar at Miss World Philippines 2021 and competed against 43 other candidates at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center in Olongapo, Philippines. She finished in the Top 15.
