2022 Romblon congressman, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Romblon is one of the five provinces of the Mimaropa region of the Philippines. The others are Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro and Palawan.

Puerto Princesa is the only independent city in Mimaropa. The city is around 500 kilometers away from the municipality of Romblon, the capital of the province of the same name.

2022 Romblon election results

Romblon has 17 municipalities namely Alcantara, Banton, Cajidiocan, Calatrava, Concepcion, Corcuera, Ferrol, Looc, Magdiwang, Odiongan, Romblon, San Agustin, San Andres, San Fernando, San Jose, Santa Fe and Santa Maria. Collectively, these municipalities have 219 barangays.

On May 9, 2022, Romblon elected its new congressman, governor, vice governor and provincial board members. The province has one congressional district and two provincial districts.

On October 25, 2020, Maria Fee Tajaran represented Romblon at Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and competed against 45 other candidates at the Cordillera Convention Hall of Baguio Country Club in Baguio City, Philippines. She finished in the Top 16.

On July 11, 2021, Danica Joy Acuña represented Romblon at Binibining Pilipinas and competed against 33 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced.

On September 30, 2021, Jane Nicole Miñano represented Romblon at Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and competed against 27 other candidates at the Henann Resort Convention Center of Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines. She finished in the Top 16.
