Firestarter” is a science fiction horror film distributed by Universal Pictures, a film production and distribution company based in Universal City, California, United States. It hit theaters in the country on May 13, 2022.

On the same day, “I Blame the World” was released by RCA Records, a record label based in New York City, New York, USA. It is the second studio album of Sasha Alex Sloan.

“Firestarter”

Born in San Luis Obispo, California, Zac Efron turned 34 on October 18, 2021. He plays Andrew “Andy” McGee in “Firestarter”, which was directed by Keith Thomas.

Scott Teems wrote the screenplay based on Stephen King‘s 1980 novel of the same name. It is about Ryan Kiera Armstrong‘s character Charlene “Charlie” McGee, a girl with pyrokinesis, anger issues and mood swings.

Efron’s character is Charlie’s telepathic father while Sydney Lemmon‘s character Victoria “Vicky” Tomlinson-McGee is Charlie’s telekinetic mother. Also in the cast are Kurtwood Smith as Dr. Joseph Wanless, John Beasley as Irv Manders, Michael Greyeyes as John Rainbird, Tina Jung as Miss Gardner, Hannan Younis as Darla Gurney, Gavin MacIver-Wright as Gavin, Jeremy Ferdman as Eyes Man, Gloria Reuben as Captain Janes Hollister, Jamillah Ross as Officer Pierce, Danny Waugh as Sheriff Perry, Vas Saranga as Agent Jules, Claire Armstrong as Agent Gail, Darrin Maharaj as a news reporter and Xavier Lopez as a research assistant.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, Sloan turned 27 on March 11, 2022. She wrote the songs in “I Blame the World” with King Henry.
