On October 7, 2018, Pauline Deveraturda represented Botolan and Elaiza Alzona represented Zambales at Miss World Philippines 2018 and competed against 38 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. They were both unplaced.

Joanna Marie Rabe was supposed to represented Zambales at Miss Universe Philippines 2021 at the Henann Resort Convention Center of Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines on September 30, 2021. But on September 13, 2021, she withdrew from the competition due to dengue fever.
