Miss World Malta 2020 Naomi Dingli, 27, of Valletta, Malta will crown her successor in Fort St. Elmo, Valletta on June 8, 2022. It is the 20th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Malta’s Miss World candidate.
From 1965 to 2001, the Miss Malta winner represented Malta in Miss World. Currently, the European country has one Miss World placement, which was in 1969 when Mary Brincat finished in the Top 15.

Dingli was not able to crown her successor in 2021 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Representing Malta, she competed against 96 other candidates at Miss World 2021 in December 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was unplaced.
