Miss Georgia 2021 Karson Pennington, 24, of Augusta, Georgia, United States will crown her successor at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in Columbus, Georgia on June 18, 2022. It is the 77th edition of the state-level scholarship competition that selects Georgia’s Miss America candidate.
Georgia won Miss America via Neva Jane Langley in 1953 and Betty Cantrell in 2016. The state’s most recent placement in the competition was in 2019 when Victoria Hill finished as the first runner-up.
Pennington won Miss Georgia 2021 on June 19, 2021. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Rosa Campos, Roberts Olivia McMillan, Holly Haynes and Allie Griffis.
