Daniel Georgiev represented Bulgaria at Man of the World 2019 at the Fil-Oil Flying V Center in San Juan City, Metro Manila, Philippines on July 11, 2019 and won the title. He refused to sign an exclusive contract with the competition’s organizer Prime Event Productions Philippines (PEPPS) so he was dethroned and replaced the first runner-up Jin Kyu Kim of South Korea.
On July 29, 2020, Kim was officially crowned as the new titleholder. On June 18, 2022, he crowned his successor Aditya Khurana at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City, Philippines.
