Miss Grand Laos 2021 Daomixay Phachansitthy, 23, of Savannakhet, Laos will crown her successor at the National Convention Centre in Vientiane, Laos on August 27, 2022. It is the fourth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Laos’s Miss Grand International 2022 candidate.
When Laos made its Miss Grand International debut in 2017, its representative Chinnaly Nolasing finished in the Top 20. Currently, it is the Asian country’s only placement in the international beauty pageant.
Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Miss Grand Laos was not held in 2020 and in 2021. Phatthana Khidaphone and Phachansitthy were appointed as Laos’s Miss Grand International candidates in those years, respectively.
There are 20 women competing for the Miss Grand Laos 2022 title. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:
